Looking at these cards first thing that struck me was that they symbolize a sacred celebration, not just a party. The women on the Vanessa card remind me of the 3 sister witches from Charmed and the rabbits look like priests of some unknown animal rites. In both cases they seem to be helping to guide us to a new level of emotional intimacy and to allow us to celebrate the journey.

I wonder if I’ve been so caught up in my own mishegoss lately that I haven’t been celebrating the joys of friends and other things that make me happy. I need to look at the blessings I’ve got in my life and celebrate the little victories.

On another level, these cards may be a reminder that by using my friends as emotional support or sounding boards, I may be able to work through some of the stuff that has brought me to a stalemate.

I also found it interesting that I’m stuck at the 2 of Swords so maybe I need to move beyond the intellectual partnership I tend to prefer and allow myself to swim in the emotional triune suggested by the 3 of Cups. Maybe I need to find two people who can serve as advisors to me; two other people whose opinions I trust and who can offer support and advice when I’m having one of my self-doubting, black moods. That will at least be a good place to start.
