In her blog on Monday, Sasha referred to this card as the "Nancy Drew of the Tarot deck".  I had never considered this card from that perspective before but, being a huge Nancy Drew fan, I like it.   This card still has all the possibilities it had yesterday.  Pages symbolize messengers, youth, innocence, opportunities for change, new possibilities, new growth, new experiences, acquisition of knowledge and expression of new emotions, risk-taking, grace, and art.  Swords represent the growth of the conscious mind; developing our thoughts, ideas and system of beliefs.  Swords are about acting on our philosophy of life.  The suit of Swords is associated with reason, thought, logic, will, courage, verbal skill, matters pertaining to the mind, communication and the element of air.  But I feel different today.

For some reason I feel very upbeat and positive today. It's as though something shifted inside me.  It could be because my hubby is home.  It could be that the beautiful, fabulous weather has put me in a great frame of mind.  I don't plan to analyze it too much because I'm in too good a mood.  I feel like the winged girl on the Hero's Journey card.  Today is a day for trying things from a different angle, for turning things upside down and seeing from a different perspective. 

I'm feeling light-hearted and playful, although I have homework assignment due tomorrow and I should probably be more worried about it.  I had a committee meeting that was fairly productive in an unexpected manner.  We didn't follow the agenda at all but I think we actually accomplished more.
