Aces symbolize beginnings, the start of something new and the seed of new growth.  Pentacles are associated with the material world, acquisitions of wealth and possessions, our connection to Earth and Nature, sensation, matters pertaining to the physical plane and the element of earth.  Pentacles can also be connected with practicality, groundedness and being realistic. 

Ace of Pentacles reversed may indicate being so focused on holding on to what you have that you have failed to recognize the needs of those around you, especially needs for material aid; a false or premature sense of security; extreme competition where financial gain is concerned; blinding ambition; and reluctance to “leave the garden” and make our own way.

Looking at the image on the All Hallows Ace of Discs I get a sense of someone very at ease with her physical surroundings.  She is very casually yet sensuously stretched out next to a pentagram.  Five lit black candles adorn the points of the pentagram.   A spiral decorates the inside of the pentagram.  A multi-colored striped snake slithers by on the other side of the pentagram.  The woman on this card seems to be patiently waiting.  I get the sense that she has woven a spell and is now calmly and surely waiting for it to manifest.  She is confident of her success and her abilities.  Her animal striped skirt also seems to connect her with the natural world surrounding her. 

The Ace of Garlic Flowers shows a bulb of garlic which has bloomed and now has several flowers bursting forth.  Garlic flowers are a key component in folklore to fight against the vampire.  This is blooming bulb is a strong physical tool to use against Dracula.  Garlic is a purifying and healing plant.  It is a highly regarded tool in the fight against various ailments.  Perhaps what makes garlic so successful against Dracula is that it is a purifying plant.  He cannot bear to be touched by it because he is impure and foul.  Hi is unnatural and unwholesome.  The garlic may be the gift of the earth that is designed to help purify the land of the vampire scourge.

In both cards there is a sense of potential - something waiting to manifest.  Th woman on the All Hallows Ace of Discs waits calmly and patiently for her spell to come true.  On the Vampire Tarot we see the garlic flower starting to bloom and sprout, signaling the start of the fight to end the scourge of Dracula upon Mina's soul and the land.

So I have to consider that there may be something waiting to manifest in my life right now but for some reason it's not able to burst forth just yet; the conditions aren't right.  So what can I do to bring about the proper conditions?  Maybe before this can manifest I need to feel a bit more secure about things.  Of course the only way that can happen is for me to start taking the steps necessary to make it so.  I think I just answered my own question.  Before any new financial opportunities can manifest in my life, I have to make sure I have done the ground work to support it - updating my website, reaching out to local venues and just getting the word out there.  If I don't sent that energy out into the Universe how can I expect things to change?  Silly rabbit.
