What message do you have for me today? - 9 of Swords (Sharman-Caselli & Mountain Dream)

The number nine is the number of the wisdom of the Moon.  It is also a mathematically magical number - its square root is three and the sum of any number multiplied by nine equals nine when added together (e.g.. 9 x 8 = 72, 7 + 2 = 9).  Nines also represent attainment, integration, completion and bringing things to an end.  Nines are about the natural flow of things and things proceeding smoothly.  Swords represent the growth of the conscious mind; developing our thoughts, ideas and system of beliefs.  Swords are about acting on our philosophy of life.  The suit of Swords is associated with reason, thought, logic, will, courage, verbal skill, matters pertaining to the mind, communication and the element of air.

"Your lifestyle or daily schedule is proceeding smoothly.  You can really and flexibly adjust it when changes are needed without losing sight of your priorities.  Verbal or written communication is flowing smoothly and clearly." - Gail Fairfield

And yet again - the 9 of Swords.  Obviously the Tarot is getting aggravated with me because I'm not heeding its message.  I admit that I can be a bit dense sometimes.  And to be honest I haven't even paid much attention to it.  I haven't even been focusing on my daily readings.  I'm avoiding something.  Actually I'm avoiding a lot of things.  I keep thinking things will work out because I want them to but I'm not taking active steps to achieve those goals.  I have to accept that wishes don't always come true because we want them very badly.  And some nightmares are not as frightening in the light of day.  Sometimes they are the answers we've been avoiding.

Once again I have to consider that making an effort to record and remember my dreams might be a useful tool to help me right now.  Hiding my head under the covers and trying to sleep the day away doesn't seem to be helping.  It's time to take an active role in this process otherwise I'm sure I won't like the results.
