What message do you have for me today? - Ace of Pentacles R (Sharman-Caselli & Mountain Dream)

Aces symbolize beginnings, the start of something new and the seed of new growth. Pentacles are associated with the material world, acquisitions of wealth and possessions, our connection to Earth and Nature, sensation, matters pertaining to the physical plane and the element of earth. Pentacles can also be connected with practicality, groundedness and being realistic.
Ace of Pentacles reversed may indicate being so focused on holding on to what you have that you have failed to recognize the needs of those around you, especially needs for material aid; a false or premature sense of security; extreme competition where financial gain is concerned; blinding ambition; and reluctance to “leave the garden” and make our own way.
"You can potentially create a new form or level of safety and stability in your life. You could experience a new kind of groundedness or centeredness. you may feel the stirrings of a new connection with natural, earthy forces." - Gail Fairfield
Looking at both these cards gives me a sense that I have the potential to be offered a gift (possibly a financial gift) but that something is blocking it or I'm just not ready for it yet. The hands on both cards are offering up a pentacle - symbol of the material realm, wealth and manifestation. So what might I be able to manifest in my life right now if I put my mind to it? That's pretty easy - a job. Not that I necessarily believe it will be easy to find a job but I certainly won't have any chance if I don't become more organized in my quest. Perhaps I've missed applying for the perfect job because I'm not more dedicated in reviewing listings. It's really not that hard (the application process) although it can sometimes be a bit repetitious.
Ah yes, another kick in the pants from the Tarot. I love when that happens - even if I do something ignore the message. Nothing is going to be handed to me on a silver platter unless I'm willing to put in some work for it. The truth is I don't usually appreciate things I didn't work hard to achieve so that makes a lot of sense. Time to get the butt in gear.
