What am I ignoring? - 5 of Wands R (Revelations & Full Moon Dreams)

Wands are associated with the element of fire as well as with inspiration, energy, intuition and creative imagination. This suit often reveals something you "need to light a fire under". The number 5 represents that added something that brings the situation out of balance again. It represents the struggle and challenge of inner and outer growth. This card can represent inspired chaos and freeing your expression and energy. Challenging yourself to adapt and change; pushing yourself to adjust your self-image until it feels more positive or appropriate. You might be experiencing self-doubt. Whatever the worlds sees, you know you are changing yourself.

Struggles that were mostly in fun may have taken on more intense, antagonistic overtones. Looking at the Revelations 5 of Wands it seems like a tussle that was begun in good fun has gotten serious. As often happens when one person plays just a little too rough, the fight is now in earnest. Looking at the Full Moon Dreams 5 of Fire I was struck by the fact that figure looks like he is falling to Earth. It's as though he was soaring through the heights of excitement, riding a crest of energy, only to be brought down low by a bolt of lightning.
In both cards what caught my attention is that something with which I've been struggling has taken on more serious overtones than I'd realized. This could refer to several things in my life but I think this is specifically referring to is my job search. This card might be telling me that I need to start focusing more energy and attention to my efforts. Up to this point I've been a bit haphazard about the process. I am looking for perhaps I need to become more diligent and focused about the process. Ignoring this advice may result in unnecessary struggles down the road.
