What message do you have for me today? - 6 of Earth/Coins R (Experimental & Dame Fortune)

Sixes symbolize the union of opposites, finding equilibrium, harmony in the face of constant change. Pentacles are associated with the material world, acquisitions of wealth and possessions, our connection to Earth and Nature, sensation, matters pertaining to the physical plane and the element of earth. Pentacles can also be connected with practicality, groundedness and being realistic. This card is about giving and receiving, being willing to share yourself with others and allowing yourself to receive help from others in return.
"You are re-centering yourself and re-establishing your security base after a period of confusion or challenge. You find that certain patterns tend to create a sense of security or safety for you so you represent these patterns regularly. You know that you can rely on these patterns to create a predictable and claiming sense of peace." - Gail Fairfield
With a bell in one hand and the other holding a rod and a lamp, the woman on the Dame Fortune 6 of Coins seems to be calling things home. The stork offers her a white rock or egg. The waxing moon rests amidst 6 coins that hover in the night sky. The woman seem calm and confident - at ease with her surroundings and strengths. On the Experimental 6 of Fire card shows an Empress-like woman plucking grapes and leaves from plants around her. She is harvesting the growth she helped encourage.
So then what message are these cards offering to me? I have to consider that they are pointing out that I'm not harvesting my crops very well. There may be things I have sown in my life that could benefit and help me now but I'm not utilizing them wisely. I think what the cards are trying to tell me is that I need to look at my "crops" with a more discerning eye and assess how I can use them in a way that will manifest blessings and bounty.
There is also a sense of control and command to these women. They are not driven by the winds of fate and fortune but have taken matters into their own hands and decided to make the moves necessary to accomplish their goals and desires. This is where I have been remiss. Instead of taking an active role in this process, I've been letting the winds of fate blow me about. That can sometimes have interesting results but they are not often the ones I want. So now is the time for me to decide that I want to pick my own grapes and call in my own reinforcements. It's time to take a more active role because this passivity is not serving me well at all.
